Who gets to decide what is allowed for a woman’s body or her desires?

In a world that often treats the female form as a private secret or a social symbol, artist Sheli Gupta invites us into a space built of Thread. For her, a thread is more than just a material; it is a flow of silent emotion and an invisible connection between our inner truths and the world outside.

Sheli’s work explores the gap between who we are and who we are expected to be. Using a needle to pierce and sew fragile paper, she performs a quiet act of resistance, a physical repair of the female experience. She challenges the boundary between the "Nude" (the safe, artistic object) and the "Naked" (the real, breathing subject), encouraging us to look at the body with honesty rather than judgment.

This exhibition is a small, everyday revolution. It is an attempt to make us finally acknowledge that having desires is a natural, "pure creation" and a simple rhythm of life. Here, the body is no longer a silent object for others to watch; it becomes a powerful storyteller. Welcome to a world where we move beyond apologies and reclaim our own voice.
