Clear Your Mind

Step into an evening where every voice matters.

Date: 3rd July 2025

Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Venue: The Minories Art Gallery, 74 High St, Colchester, CO1 1UE

Join us for Clear Your Mind: An Open Mic Session, part of the Fragile Strength programme at The Minories.

Inspired by the transformative book Clear Your Mind by Sam Owen, which motivates individuals to escape from negative cycles in life to find peace and acceptance. This open mic event creates a safe and welcoming space for you to embrace vulnerability and build emotional resilience through honest self-expression.

Whether you want to read poetry, sing, play a piece of music, tell a story, or simply listen, this evening is about connection, honesty, and healing.

This Open Mic is more than just a stage.  It is a space to have a break from the noise inside and be part of a community where raw, unfiltered conversations about mental well-being are encouraged and celebrated. No judgment, no expectations — just an open floor for your voice, your feelings, your passion and your story.

Whether you're a first-time speaker or a seasoned performer, we invite you to step forward and share your voice. Or simply come, listen, and feel the powerful energy of community support.

Spaces are limited — book your spot now by clicking below!
