Join us for Sun Is Also a Star, a full-day creative collage-making session inspired by the bestselling novel The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon. This beloved book beautifully explores fate, identity, family, and the universe’s mysterious ways of bringing lives together.
Our session channels this same spirit—focusing on fragility and strength, self-expression, and the interconnectedness of our personal stories. As part of the Fragile Strength community programme, this hands-on session is more than just an art class, it’s a chance to pause, reflect, and tell your story using scissors, glue, colour, and texture.
You'll be guided to create a personal collage that reflects your emotions, experiences, and inner strength. No prior art experience is required just come with an open mind and a willingness to express yourself.
Rooted in the themes of vulnerability, identity, and resilience, this session celebrates how our stories, just like a collage are made up of many overlapping parts. Whether you're navigating change, dealing with inner conflict, or simply want to explore your creative side, this space is for you.
