About Us

We are a space for diverse voices and perspectives rooted in South Asian heritage. We go beyond showcasing art; we build opportunities for artists and communities to work together.

We are committed to supporting and promoting emerging and mid-career artists from the region, giving them a platform to be seen, heard, and celebrated worldwide.

We started our journey in 2019, when a group of artists came together over a shared struggle of not knowing how to market their work, build a portfolio, find clients, or approach the galleries. Once they stepped into the real world, the challenges felt overwhelming, and for many, it meant giving up on being a full-time artist.

What started as a personal experience became a shared reality for artists around the world. The art world felt exclusive and important social issues weren’t being discussed in galleries. They were seen as part of academics or humanities, not art. We believe art is not separate from lived experiences.

We created Artlune to change that. A platform created by artists, for artists.

We’re not distant and exclusive like traditional galleries. We’re a virtual space designed to break barriers and make art inclusive and accessible to all.

Artlune began by addressing a gap in the art world; many South Asian artists lacked the support and visibility they deserved.

For us, art is more than exhibitions. It’s a tool to spark conversations, address socio-cultural issues, and create change. Through our events and collaborations, we’re building a community where stories connect and inspire real dialogue.

Our Mission

We’re building a space for South Asian artists to share their heritage, stories, and creative works. From exhibitions and mentorship to collaborations and creative exchange, we support emerging and mid-career artists as they grow. We aim to expand the reach of South Asian art and transform how it is experienced, appreciated

and understood on a global level.

For us, art isn’t just visual; it’s a way to connect, reflect and spark meaningful conversations.

Our Vision

We believe art should move beyond traditional galleries and be accessible to everyone. Our vision is to bring communities together through inclusive and meaningful art. Artists are central to our mission: we showcase their work, support their growth, and encourage them to experiment, push boundaries, and collaborate across disciplines.

Through this, we inspire fresh ways of thinking and use art as a tool to spark dialogue, address global challenges, and drive change.
