Using art to drive social dialogue and cultural understanding

Artlune works with emerging and established South Asian artists to create projects that engage with socially relevant themes, from identity and migration to mental health and the environment.

We bring together artists, audiences, and organisations to create work that is not only seen, but experienced and discussed.

Why this Exists

Most artists working with socially relevant ideas struggle with visibility, access, and sustained support.

At the same time, organisations are increasingly looking to engage meaningfully with themes like diversity, inclusion, and social responsibility, but often lack the right cultural platforms to do so.

Artlune operates in that space.

We create projects where artists, audiences, and organisations come together, not just to exhibit work, but to engage with ideas that matter.

Our Impact

Over the past few years, Artlune has built a growing ecosystem across the UK and India.

Global Reach

For us, these numbers reflect scale, but what defines the work is depth.

  • Audiences don’t just visit our work; they engage.

  • They spend time, ask questions, and return.

Artists gain visibility in meaningful contexts, and projects continue to generate conversations beyond their duration.

Key Projects

Against The Grain

A project exploring environmental sustainability through exhibitions, workshops, and community engagement.

It brought together artists, school students, and local communities to create a shared space for learning and exchange.

Over 300 participants engaged across 9 events, with a global reach of more than 17,000. The project also led to new partnerships and ongoing collaborations.

Fragile Strength

Focused on male mental health in South Asian society, this project created space for dialogue through exhibitions and public programming.

It included 19 events, reached over 30,000 people, and built 13 partnerships. Visitors travelled from different cities, and engagement continued well beyond the exhibition.

Our Audience

Our audience is active, engaged, and culturally aware.

It includes artists, collectors, curators, students, and professionals who are already part of ongoing conversations around contemporary culture.

We engage a growing community across email, social platforms, and in-person programmes, supported by an international network of collaborators and partners.
