Why does Artlune Circle exist?
Many people feel a deep connection with art.
They visit exhibitions, follow artists online, and feel genuinely moved by the ideas and stories that artworks carry. Yet when it comes to how to start an art collection, many hesitate.
Not because they lack interest, but because the art world can feel difficult to enter.
You might have wondered:
-
Where do collectors discover artists?
-
How do you know which artwork to choose?
-
How do people actually begin collecting original artwork?
The truth is that most collectors start very simply, with curiosity, one meaningful artwork and the right guidance.
This is exactly why we created the Artlune Collector Circle.

What members receive?
For £580 per year, membership is designed to give you access, understanding, and the opportunity to experience contemporary South Asian art more closely without pressure.
1. An original artwork for your collection
Within the first four months of joining, each member will receive an original A5, exclusively created for the members. Each work is hand-signed by the artist, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
These works are not released publicly. For many members, this becomes the first piece in their personal art collection, a meaningful starting point for supporting emerging artists whose practices are only beginning to reach wider audiences.
2. A personal Art Consultation
Members are invited to a one-hour private consultation session with us in which we will talk about:
-
How people begin their journey of collecting original artwork
-
How artists develop their practices
-
How artworks are priced
-
How you might approach building a collection
There is no pressure to buy anything. The goal is to make you feel more comfortable and informed in the art world.
3. Early access to curated artworks
Members receive early access to original artworks for sale, curated by Artlune before they are released publicly.
These works typically range between £1,000 and £15,000, making them accessible for new collectors while still representing serious contemporary art practices.
Members also receive a 10% collector discount on artworks.
4. The Artlune Collector Handbook
Members receive a practical guide written to answer the questions new collectors most often ask including how to start an art collection, how to assess value, and how to develop your eye over time.
Written simply and honestly, it is a guide for people at the beginning of their collecting journey.
5. Conversations with artists
Throughout the year, members are invited to small online conversations with Artlune artists.
These sessions allow you to hear directly from artists about:
-
Their ideas and inspirations
-
The stories behind their work
-
How their practice is evolving
For collectors, these conversations often become one of the most rewarding aspects of collecting.
6. Invitations to exhibitions and events
Members receive invitations to exhibitions, previews, and discussions organised by Artlune. These moments offer opportunities to experience contemporary South Asian art in person and meet the artists behind the works.

Why collect emerging artists?
Many experienced collectors will tell you that discovering artists early in their careers is one of the most exciting aspects of collecting.
At this stage, artists are exploring ideas with great energy and experimentation. Supporting emerging artists through collecting can be both personally meaningful and culturally significant.
Through the Artlune Collector Circle, members are introduced to artists whose practices engage with questions of identity, culture, memory, and contemporary life across South Asia and its diaspora.
Founding members
We are preparing to welcome the first 30 founding members of the Artlune Collector Circle.
These early members will help shape the art collector community as it grows and will receive priority access to future initiatives and artwork releases.
Membership is limited. Once the founding cohort is full, the waiting list will close.
Join the waiting list
If you feel curious about beginning your collecting journey, or simply want to collect contemporary South Asian art in a way that feels guided and considered, we invite you to join the Founding Members Waiting List.
Those on the list will be the first to receive invitations when the Artlune Collector Circle opens.
