Curatorial Walkthrough: Not an Extra

29 April 2026
Virtual Event

Step inside the exhibition through a slower, more attentive lens.

The Curatorial Walkthrough invites you to move beyond viewing the artworks and into the thinking, questions, and quiet tensions that shape them. Guided by the curators, this walkthrough unpacks the ideas behind the exhibition: how certain lives come to be treated as peripheral, and what it means to insist on their presence.

As you move through the works, you'll explore how plywood can carry the weight of journeys, waiting and endurance making Portia Roy's choices of form and surface never accidental. The curators will share why these works sit where they do, how the narratives unfold across the exhibition, and what conversations the exhibition hopes to begin.

Date: 29 April 2026

Time: 8:00 - 9:00 PM (IST) | 3:30 - 4:30 PM (GMT)

Virtual: Google Meet

This is not a lecture. It is a shared moment of reflection. A chance to pause, look carefully, ask questions, and sit with lives and stories that are too often left in the background.

Come and experience the exhibition not just with your eyes, but with curiosity and care.
